Junior CAD Technician
Location: Downton
Salary: £26,000
We're looking for a proficient Junior CAD Technician to support production by creating accurate drawings and machine-ready files. This is not a design role - instead, you'll be central to programming plate profiling equipment (plasma, laser, punch & shear) and ensuring smooth, efficient workflows.
Responsibilities
* Prepare programs/files for profiling machines with accuracy and efficiency.
* Interpret technical drawings and create/modify CAD files.
* Support production teams and maintain workflow continuity.
* Monitor materials/consumables and keep machinery ready for use.
* Ensure customer orders are processed correctly and delivered on time.

* Strong CAD skills with excellent attention to detail.
* Organised, computer literate, and confident with numbers.
* Positive, proactive, and able to work independently or in a team.
