Secondary Cover Supervisor - Wellingborough

Tradewind Recruitment are seeking confident, enthusiastic, and reliable Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across the Wellingborough area. This role is perfect for individuals looking to gain school-based experience, whether you're a recent graduate, aspiring teacher, or someone with strong youth work or classroom support experience.

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in maintaining continuity of learning during teacher absences by delivering pre-set work and managing classroom behaviour.

The Role:

Supervise classes in the absence of the regular teacher

Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials across a range of subjects

Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment

Support students with their tasks and engagement

Follow school policies and provide feedback to teaching staff

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Experience working with young people (school-based or similar)

Strong classroom management and communication skills

A confident, adaptable, and proactive approach

A passion for supporting students' education

An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
