The Best Connection are recruiting for a Mechanical Engineer on behalf of our client based in Ellesmere Port.

This job includes the following:

• Support process improvements and complete preventative maintenance routines
• Ensure all work complies with Health & Safety procedures and is logged via Pirana CMMS
• Perform proactive and reactive maintenance on conveyors, motors, gearboxes, control panels, vibratory feeders, optical sorters etc
• Collaborate with production teams to maintain site efficiency
• Carry out some welding, fabrication and mechanical repairs

Key Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years experience within an industrial environment
• Multi-skilled background with both electrical and mechanical expertise
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and fabricate components accordingly
• Capable of working both individually and as a team
• Good reporting skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication skills

It's on a 4 off, 4 on (alternating days and nights) basis.
