Are you an experienced Maintenance Engineer with a background in CNC machinery and a passion for precision? Looking for a new role where you'll be a valued contributor in a high-spec manufacturing environment?

We're working with a leading Poole-based engineering business, known for producing world-class components for highly regulated industries. With a commitment to continuous improvement and investment in the latest technology, they're looking to add a proactive Maintenance Engineer to support the maintenance and reliability of their CNC machining capabilities.

As Maintenance Engineer, you'll benefit from:

As Maintenance Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

Servicing and repairing CNC machines including Index, Chiron, Mazak, and Citizen
Performing fault diagnostics using PLC systems
Supporting preventative maintenance schedules to minimise downtime
Maintaining compliance with health and safety standards at all times
Understanding and troubleshooting servo systems (Siemens advantageous)
Assisting with general site maintenance and machine fixture repair
Communicating clearly across departments to meet production needs
As Maintenance Engineer, your experience will include:

Qualifications in both mechanical assembly and electrical engineering (C&G or equivalent)
Strong problem-solving skills and a flexible, proactive mindset
A background in CNC machine tool maintenance, ideally with fault-finding and PLC exposure
A hands-on approach with the ability to manage varied maintenance tasks
Tool room experience or component rework background (desirable)
