JAG accreditation preferred but not essential

Working alongside Endoscopists, Anaesthetists, Theatre Nurses, Operating Department Practitioners (ODPs), and Healthcare Assistants to provide skilled care and support throughout a patient's perioperative care.

Main Duties/Responsibilities

  • Monitor, assess, and care for patients before, during and after endoscopy procedures.
  • Manage endoscopic equipment, including endoscopes, biopsy forceps, and needles.
  • Implement, and monitor appropriate standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Perform duties according to local hospital policies, procedures, and standards; ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Prepare administrative reports and documents, and perform other job-related duties as required.

Qualifications/Licenses/Certifications

Essential

  • Be a Registered Nurse/ODP
  • At least 2 years' post-graduate experience.

6 months recent UK experience within the last 3 years.
