Do you have a passion for supporting young people with SEMH, EBD, or additional needs? Are you an experienced Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) looking for your next rewarding challenge in education?
Tradewind Recruitment is working with some fantastic alternative provisions and SEN Schools in Swindon and we're on the lookout for a committed, resilient, and confident SEN HLTAS to join the Tradewind Supply Team from September 2025 on a long-term basis.

💡 The Role at a Glance:
* Full-time or Part-Time (to suit you), term-time only (Mon-Fri | 8:30am-3:30pm)
* Long-term contracts available with the potential to become permanent for the right people
* Support students with SEMH (Social, Emotional & Mental Health) and EBD (Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties)
* Deliver 1:1 and small group interventions
* Step in to cover pre-planned lessons when needed - no planning required!
* Be a consistent, trusted adult in the classroom, helping students thrive both academically and emotionally

🌟 What We're Looking For:
* A confident HLTA, or an experienced TA ready to step up
* A minimum of 6 months experience in a school or specialist setting preferred but not essential if you have the right personality for the school
* Someone comfortable managing challenging behaviour with calm, consistency, and care
* A proactive team player with strong communication skills
* Reliability, resilience, and a genuine passion for helping children succeed

* Daily rate: From £100 per day to £130 per day (depending on experience)
