This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate individual to shape the future professionals in the built environment sector, focusing on sustainable design, energy efficiency, and low carbon retrofit strategies.

Day-to-day of the role as a Lecturer in Retrofit & Sustainability:
  • Deliver high-quality teaching activities aligned with the institution’s sustainability goals and the evolving needs of the construction and environmental sectors.
  • Engage and inspire students in the subjects of sustainable design and retrofit practices.
  • Develop and update course materials to reflect the latest trends and technologies in sustainability and retrofit.
  • Collaborate with industry professionals to enhance course relevance and provide students with real-world insights.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of educational programs and practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • A teaching qualification, such as AET, PTLLS, PGCE, or certificate in education
  • Passion for sustainability and the built environment.
  • Experience in retrofit practices, energy modelling, or sustainable construction.
  • Commitment to innovative teaching and student success.
  • Eagerness to contribute to industry engagement.
  • Although a teaching and assessing qualification is desirable, candidates new to teaching are welcome to apply as training will be provided.
