An outstanding SEN school in Hackney is looking for a committed SEN Teacher to join their team from September. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with complex needs, in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.

About the School - SEN Teacher

This well-established SEN school supports children and young people aged 4-19 with a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASD), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), SEMH, and complex communication needs. The school has a highly collaborative staff team, excellent facilities (including sensory rooms and therapy support), and a child-centred ethos.

The Role - SEN Teacher

As an SEN Teacher, you will:

* Deliver personalised and inclusive lessons to students with EHCPs

* Plan, differentiate, and assess learning tailored to individual needs

* Work closely with a team of TAs, therapists, and parents to support holistic progress

* Foster a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment

* Support emotional regulation, communication, and independence

The Ideal Candidate Will Have - SEN Teacher

* QTS or QTLS (Applications from ECTs with SEN experience welcomed)

* Previous experience teaching students with SEND (particularly ASD, SLD or SEMH)

* Excellent classroom and behaviour management strategies

* A creative, adaptable and resilient approach

* A passion for inclusive practice and whole-child development
