V7 are working with a close client in the Water Industry who due to exponential growth are looking for experienced Hydraulic Modellers to join the Team.

On offer is a salary of £40,000-£45,000 plus benefits and excellent progression opportunities.

The Role:
As a Hydraulic Modeller, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality modelling solutions for a range of projects across the clean water and wastewater sectors. You'll support planning, design, and operational decision-making using advanced modelling tools and hydrological analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop, calibrate, and validate hydraulic models (Infoworks ICM, Infowater, or similar)

* Conduct modelling for urban drainage, sewerage, river systems, and/or clean water networks

* Support flood risk assessments, drainage strategies, and catchment studies

* Analyse model outputs and prepare technical reports for clients and stakeholders

* Work collaboratively with engineers, planners, and environmental consultants

* Provide input into bids, proposals, and project planning

About You:

* Proficient in one or more modelling platforms (e.g., Infoworks ICM, InfoWater, Epanet, TUFLOW)

* Experience in the UK water industry (consultancy or utility) preferred

* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

* Ability to manage time effectively and work on multiple projects simultaneously

* Experience with GIS and data analysis tools (e.g., QGIS, ArcGIS) is an advantage
