We are currently working with an education provider in the beautiful Lake District area who are looking for a Mechanical Engineering Trainer (Manual Machining) to join their team on a permanent, full-time basis.

The position would consist of 37 hours of work per week, and would involve delivering practical training on Manual Machining to Mechanical Engineering learners (at level 2/3).

The starting salary would be up to a maximum of £40,267 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience), and you would also get a Teacher's Pension (with employer contributions of 28.68%) in addition to a holiday allocation of 45 days (plus 8 days for Bank Holidays). Relocators would be considered, and there would also be a relocation package of up to £2,500 to cover property deposit, moving costs, etc.

To apply for the role, you MUST have:
-A Mechanical Engineering qualification (at level 3 or above)
-Industrial experience of hands-on machining
-A passion for passing on your engineering knowledge

While the education provider are ideally looking for someone who has a teaching qualification, they would be more than happy to fully fund the right candidate through a teaching qualification on the job if they don't already have one.
