Your new companyHays are currently working with a commercial client who are looking to bring in a new Maintenance Technician to their team on a permanent basis. You will need to effectively assist the Maintenance Manager with maintaining and repairing all mechanical, electrical, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, drainage, utility supplies, and the health & safety provisions of Stoke Park. You must have an NVQ OR C&G.Your new roleYou will need to have the ability to work day and night shifts from Monday to Sundays.This role is dependent on the core trade: Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry, Decorating, and General Engineering qualifications / skills.You must be familiar with fire equipment and general procedure for this role.Co-ordinates his task assignment with his peers in the Maintenance department to resolve all reported breakdowns and scheduled maintenance.Assists the Maintenance Manager in fulfilling his/her role as the Estates Health & Safety Supervisor and ensures compliance with all regulations and best practices. Assists the Maintenance Manager to induct, supervise all contractors and ensure they meet qualification requirements to carry out the work.What you'll need to succeedYou must have an NVQ OR C&G in the relevant field. You will need to be available to work both days and nights, alongside some weekends.You must be able to provide reference details.Ability to work under time-constrained conditionsExcellent organisational and prioritising skillsYou must be trained in Health and Safety.You must be able to provide references.
