 Elevation Recruitment Group are currently supporting an industry-leading manufacturer for a Production Team Leader to join their facility in Doncaster.

 This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Team Leader to step into a pivotal role within a fast-paced production environment and take responsibility for the day-to-day supervision of a designated area, ensuring output and quality targets are consistently achieved.

 Being visible on the shop floor and acting as the key point of contact within the department – leading from the front and setting the standard for behaviours, quality and safety.

 Key Responsibilities of the Production Team Leader include:

• Leading and supervising your team to deliver against KPIs for quality and output
• Ensuring products meet strict specification standards before reaching customers
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives and encouraging team input
• Monitoring paperwork completion and quality control compliance
• Promoting and maintaining high housekeeping standards through 5S principles
• Supporting people management processes including return-to-work interviews, probation reviews, appraisals and disciplinary investigations
• Delivering toolbox talks and on-the-job training
• Monitoring timekeeping and performance standards
• Actively supporting health & safety compliance and proactively reducing risk
• Supporting manufacturing and inspection activities when required

We’re looking for a Production Team Leader with the below skills & experience:

• Previous experience in a Team Leader or Supervisory role within manufacturing
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• A proactive, positive leadership style
• Confidence managing performance and resolving issues effectively
• A solid understanding of health & safety and quality standards
• A hands-on approach with the ability to motivate and develop others
