We are seeking a dedicated Year 5 Primary Teacher to join our vibrant school community in Medway. This permanent position is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator who is committed to nurturing a love of learning in young minds, starting from September.
Day-to-day of the role: - Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and educational lessons aligned with the national curriculum for Year 5 students.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback to both students and their parents.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that promotes student engagement and learning.
- Implement classroom management strategies that support a constructive learning environment.
- Collaborate with other teachers, staff, and the school leadership to enhance teaching practices and overall school effectiveness.
- Participate in school events, outings, and activities, which may occasionally take place outside regular school hours.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Proven experience in teaching at the primary level, specifically with Year 5 or similar age groups.
- Strong understanding of the primary education curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Ability to foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment.
