This role offers an opportunity for a recently qualified accountant (ACA or equivalent) to take responsibility for financial reporting across European entities, working collaboratively with regional and global teams.

Description

• Maintaining accurate books and records for European legal entities
• Preparing monthly and annual financial statements
• Producing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and supporting schedules
• Supporting audits and working with external auditors and advisors
• Interpreting accounting standards and documenting accounting policies and controls
• Partnering with internal stakeholders, including finance technology teams, to improve and automate processes
• Ensuring deadlines are met in a fast-moving, regulated environment

Profile

• Recently Qualified in ACA / CA or equivalent with approx 1 year PQE
• Financial Services Sector Experience either in Industry or Practice
• Experience preparing financial statements and account reconciliations
• Strong attention to detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Confident communicator able to build effective working relationships across teams
• Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing competing priorities
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with financial systems an advantage
• Exposure to regulated environments beneficial but not required
