Cherrybrook Care Home is a large, purpose designed service in Bradford, providing specialist care across two units for 120 residents with complex mental health needs, dementia and challenging behaviours. The home delivers high quality, clinically led care within a structured and supportive environment, combining specialist nursing expertise with a strong focus on dignity, stability and person centred support.

Care Assistant - Male Only Unit

  • £12.71 per hour
  • Full time contracted hours
  • Day and night shifts available
  • Paid DBS, uniform provided, pension scheme
  • Onsite parking
  • 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract)

Role Overview
As a Care Assistant, you will support residents within a dedicated male only unit, delivering high quality, person centred care in a structured and supportive environment. You will assist with personal care, mobility and daily routines while promoting dignity, independence and comfort at all times.

You will build positive and respectful relationships with residents, providing reassurance, consistency and a calm presence. Your approach will support individuals with complex mental health needs, dementia and behaviours that challenge, helping to create a safe and stable environment.

This role is open to both experienced care professionals and those new to care who are willing to learn and develop. You will be supported with training and guidance to build your confidence and skills within a complex care setting.

Working closely with the wider team, you will follow care plans, maintain accurate records and contribute to a well organised and supportive home. Your role will have a direct impact on residents' wellbeing and daily experience.
