Under direction of the Director IT or Manager, this role is responsible for supporting and extending Enterprise Solutions, and in particular, Oracle cloud financial and ERP solutions (Fusion and PBCS/Hyperion), for Versiti. Duties: Responsible for supporting and extending Versiti s Enterprise Solutions, in particular, Oracle Fusion and PBCS solutions and deployments. Establishes strong working relationships with business partner and users, vendors and internal staff; collaborates on the design development and delivery of solutions; can lead technical design, development and delivery aspects as needed. Supports business operations such as budgeting, invoicing, and month/year-end close processes. Coordinate with internal IT resources, business partners, users, and vendors for issue resolution; ensures issues are resolved in a timely manner. Works with IT Director/Manager, Portfolio Representatives, and vendors, to ensure user requirements are met by delivered systems and user expectations are constantly managed during projects. Helps ensures system designs are aligned with workflow and include controls for mitigating business, regulatory and safety risks. Assists in post-implementation reviews for all significant system changes and rollouts. Works effectively with Oracle s and vendor/partner support ticketing systems. Analyzes requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing and/or testing to help improve existing systems. Acts as a systems consultant to multiple projects; can lead technical design considering time to meet business need and sustainability. Prepares project work plans and time estimates, reports status against work plans, and meets timelines. Completes documentation for large or complex projects as required by department. Prioritizes and manages assigned tasks and activities to meet the needs of multiple business areas. Performs operations tasks related to the systems (ex. running jobs, interfaces, reports). Ensures compliance with all applicable change management processes and procedures. Assists with the maintenance of the Development, QA and Production environments including preparing system documentation and executing testing of upgrades and patches. Assists in establishment of policies, processes, procedures and standards. Assists in technical architecture requirements for systems to be deployed. Advises on complex design and code walkthroughs for peers and less experienced developers. Assists management on creation of programming and design standards/methodologies as applicable. Helps develop and drive best practices for testing and delivery of defect free code which meets requirements. Recognizes broad impact of system changes and plans for the unexpected, including anticipation of cross-functional and data interactions with new development. Provides technical expertise for development and support and related tools. Assists in developing training programs. Performs software evaluations as required. Qualifications: BS from an accredited institution; Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems degree preferred; equivalent work experience may be considered MS preferred Prior experience implementing and/or supporting enterprise financial and ERP solutions; experience with Oracle Fusion and/or PBCS/Hyperion preferred. Experience with Fusion core financials (ex. GL, AP, AR), Supply Chain with Order Management, Procurement and Projects preferred; experience with PBCS/Hyperion cube creation, forms and report development preferred. 6 years of progressive responsibility with enterprise solutions development and support; a minimum of 4 years of systems analysis and design experience Strong software development life cycle and test experience desired, along with demonstrated experience in system deployment testing and risk analysis Experience in various systems design methodologies and in the creation/maintenance of team standards Skills and Knowledge: Experience with Oracle financial / ERP solutions; experience with Oracle Fusion and PBCS preferred: Strong experience with Oracle s development framework and technologies to support and extend Oracle Fusion (ex. Java, groovy) Familiarity with Fusion FBDI templates and related processes to load/stage data Experience integrating to Fusion using web services and familiarity with X12 / EDI is desirable Strong expertise with Fusion s database and related technologies; Strong understanding of Fusion s schema, subject areas and expertise with reporting tools such as BI Publisher and OTBI; must be comfortable developing and supporting complex queries and related reports Strong experience with Oracle PBCS/Hyperion/Essbase development and database frameworks and technologies; experience creating cubes, writing scripts (ex. calculations), developing web forms and reports, using tools such as SmartView Experience integration to PBCS (ex. loading / extracting data) Self-starter, self-directed, results-oriented, with strong sense of urgency Strong collaboration and team player skills with the ability to partner well with users, internal and external/vendor partners and management Proficient in understanding, analyzing and communicating complex business requirements, translating these requirements into system solutions, and assisting in make or buy decisions Demonstrated ability to balance technical solutions with practical business needs, thinking short and long term while recognizing broad system impact Demonstrated ability to use a systematic approach in solving problems through analysis of problem and evaluation of alternate solutions Thorough understanding of software development life cycle and best practices; collaborates with management to optimize processes and practices Equal Opportunity Employer.
