We are hoping to hear from candidates who are looking to complete teacher training in the future but who need/want to gain additional school based experience before applying.
Our Future Teachers programme is designed to provide degree graduates with the opportunity to gain full-time employment within primary schools ahead of beginning teacher training. Many candidates who've previously joined our Future Teacher programme had been told they needed more in-school experience before applying and so finding paid positions was a perfect way to do this. We can arrange full or part-time positions within your most local schools and within a range of year groups. It might be that you already know what age group you'd like to specialise in or it could be that you'd like to gain experience across the full primary range to find where your strengths are.
Within these roles, you will be paid weekly at £10 per hour, will have access to a large CPD academy and have a consultant available 5 days a week to support you during your placement.
If part-time or flexible work would suit you best, you can also register to cover supply work meaning you are given your own personal online diary so you can pick and choose which days you'd like to work. In this role you are given the opportunity to work across a range of schools (in a COVID secure working pattern) and gain experience in different settings.
Successful applicants will need a degree or other relevant qualification and will need to be available for 3 or more days a week. You will need to have a passion for education and the ability to work well with different teams and children.
We are exceptionally excited to support many new degree graduates in their lead up to teacher training so please get in touch if you'd like to know more or if you'd like to start your registration.
