Class 2 Trade Waste Driver

Job location: Ashbourne, DE6 area

Pat rate: £17.00per hour, weekly pay. every Friday

Shift pattern: Monday - Friday shift start 4am/5am ,10 h shift

Class 2 Trade Waste Driver for our client based in Ashbourne, DE6 area. Our client is a leader in waste management services.

The role can be physically demanding, involving lifting and carrying of waste and recycling materials from various waste receptacles (e.g. bins, bags and boxes)

Class 2 Trade Waste Driver- Duties & Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a Class 2 (Category C) HGV to collect trade waste
• Use bin-lifting equipment and follow pre-planned routes
• Perform daily vehicle checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness
• Ensure compliance with all health & safety and waste handling regulations
• Provide professional and courteous customer service
• Report any issues, delays, or incidents promptly

Class 2 Trade Waste Driver- Person Specification

• Physically able to meet the demands of the job
• Ability to adapt quickly to a fast paced, dynamic work environment
• Previous experience within a waste & recycling industrial environment would be an advantage.
• Good team player and communicator
• Perform a various of task including moving bulky items and loading of vehicle outside in all weather conditions
