Tradewind are working with welcoming and well-resourced SEN schools in and around Ely that are on the lookout for SEN Teaching Assistants to join their teams.

The Role of a SEN Teaching Assistant:

• Supporting students with a wide range of additional needs, including autism, social-emotional needs, and complex learning difficulties
• Working alongside skilled teachers and therapists in small, focused classes
• Encouraging communication, confidence, and emotional wellbeing
• Helping students engage with learning in creative and tailored ways
• Being a consistent, calming presence in a child's school day

Ideal candidates might be:

• Experienced support staff or teaching assistants
• Former care workers, youth mentors, or nursery nurses
• Graduates exploring a career in education
• Individuals with lived experience of SEN or a strong desire to learn
