We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Registered Residential Care Home Manager to lead The Cedars, a residential care home in Clacton-on-Sea. This role suits a strong, hands-on leader who is passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred residential care and building a stable, motivated team.

The Role

You will have full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring residents receive safe, dignified, and high-quality care in line with CQC requirements and best practice.

Key responsibilities include:

Overall management of the residential care home

Maintaining full compliance with CQC regulations and standards

Leading, supporting, and developing the care and senior team

*

Ensuring high standards of person-centred residential care

*

Managing staffing, rotas, occupancy, and day-to-day operations

Building strong relationships with residents, families, and professionals

*

Creating a warm, safe, and homely environment

About You

You will:

Have previous experience managing or deputising in a residential care home

*

Be registered with the CQC (or eligible to register)

*

Have strong knowledge of CQC compliance, safeguarding, and care legislation

*

Be a confident, visible leader with excellent people-management skills

*

Be passionate about improving quality of life for residents
