Private Client Solicitor/Legal Executive – Exeter, Devon 2+ PQE

A well-established regional firm in Devon is looking to appoint an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join its expanding team. This position offers high-quality work, strong progression prospects and the chance to develop your expertise in a respected, forward-thinking department.

The Opportunity:

You’ll manage a varied caseload of private client work, including:

• Drafting wills and advising on estate planning
• Setting up and administering trusts, including inheritance tax planning
• Preparing and registering LPAs
• Court of Protection applications and elderly client advice
• Handling complex matters for high-net-worth individuals and families

As you continue to grow, you’ll take on more sophisticated and higher-value instructions with full support from experienced senior lawyers.

What You’ll Bring:

• Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with 2+ years’ PQE in Private Client
• Strong grounding in wills, probate, trusts and tax
• Confident communicator with excellent client care standards
• STEP qualification helpful but not required – full funding and study support offered
• Able to work in or commute to Exeter, East Devon, or surrounding areas
