The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Graduate Service / Calibration Engineer to join a specialist electronics environment. This role is ideal for a recent engineering graduate looking to develop hands-on skills in the service, test, repair, and calibration of electronic products within a structured and supportive setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the service, test, calibration, and repair of electronic products in line with internal procedures
• Assist with fault finding on electronic systems, working towards component-level diagnosis
• Support the dismantling and reassembly of products to required standards
• Carry out testing using appropriate equipment and documentation
• Assist in diagnosing PCB-level faults and supporting repairs
• Complete service documentation and maintain accurate records
• Provide support to internal teams and assist with technical queries when required
• Ensure work is completed in line with quality standards and departmental KPIs
• Follow health and safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment

Skills & Experience

Holds an electronic bias degree
Basic understanding of electronics and fault finding principles
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and circuit diagrams
Some hands-on experience with electronic assembly or testing (academic or industry)
Exposure to test equipment
Understanding of soldering principles
Good attention to detail and willingness to learn
Strong communication skills and the ability to work within a team

Salary
£25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience
