A long standing client of Trinity House Group's are looking to add a Finance Business Partner into their established Birmingham finance team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working closely with operational stakeholders, providing insight, and influencing business performance. You will act as a key link between Finance and regional operations, helping leaders understand their numbers and make better-informed decisions.
As Finance Business Partner, you will support operational teams across multiple sites, providing financial insight, analysis and challenge to drive performance and ensure strong financial control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partnering with regional and operational leaders to translate financial performance into meaningful insight
- Producing monthly management information, including analysis of operating expenditure and margins
- Delivering variance analysis against budgets and forecasts, identifying key trends and opportunities
- Supporting operational teams with budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
- Ensuring accurate cost allocation across regional and branch cost centres
- Providing financial challenge and guidance to ensure commercial decisions are supported by robust analysis
- Completing balance sheet reconciliations and supporting month-end close
- Supporting the development of junior team members where required
We’re looking for a confident finance professional who enjoys working with the wider business, influencing stakeholders, and driving improvements through financial insight.
About You:
- CIMA or ACCA qualification (or be in the final stages of study)
- Experience in a Finance Business Partnering, Management Accountant, or commercial finance role
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn data into clear recommendations
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong Excel skills and experience working with financial systems
- A proactive and collaborative approach with a focus on continuous improvement
