With a European turnover of circa 12 million, the Finance team based in Preston is responsible for producing the accounts for each entity followed by consolidation. This job as Finance Assistant will work directly for the experienced Management Accountant, who also operates as the team leader and support with all transactional based accounting with the opportunity to progress and increase responsibility.

• This role is to form part of the teams succession plan, and so there will be constant development and increased responsibility.
• You must be looking to study, and have the drive and want to progress within a finance team.
• You must have a sound education record, able to show your own commitment to learning.
• Experience within a finance office, or finance education is essential as you must be able to demonstrate your want to work in finance.

You must be open and willing to work in the office full time, as you will be learning from the team and your superiors. You will work friendly full time hours, with flexibility, and for a very supportive Finance Director who will be committed to your development. Fully study support will be available, AAT and CIMA / ACCA.
