Are you looking to be a Design Technology teacher in one of the most extensive and progressive networks of schools and educational support services in the world, as a DT Teacher. • Plan, implement and monitor schemes of work, lesson plans and student assignments for DT
• Use the school virtual learning environment (Canvas) to develop and utilise assignments and tasks
• Use a wide range of resources and extracurricular activities to provide students with a broad range of experiences
• Set targets based on prior attainment and provide effective feedback to extend and develop all students
• Use teaching strategies that keep pupils engaged and create a safe and stimulating learning environment
• Set high expectations for pupil behaviour and maintain a good standard of disciplineYou will have:
• Qualified Teacher status and a degree or a similar Design related qualification
• Recent experience of teaching DT to students in KS3-KS4
• Knowledge of the National Curriculum for GCSE DT
• A good understanding of SEND procedures
• A diverse set of skills to work in the classroom and in the modern learning centre
