Ivy Resource Group are recruiting for an experienced and motivated Senior Quantity Surveyor - or a Quantity Surveyor ready to step up - to join a prestigious high-end residential construction company based in Gloucestershire. This is a permanent position with an immediate start, offering a salary of up to £70,000.

The Company

Our client is a well-established high-end residential contractor with a reputation for delivering bespoke, luxury homes across Gloucestershire and surrounding areas. Their projects combine craftsmanship with quality finishes, and they're now seeking to grow their commercial team with a talented QS who shares their eye for detail and passion for excellence.

The Role Entails:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a close-knit, specialist team where you'll take ownership of financial operations across high-spec residential builds. The role would suit a seasoned Senior QS or a capable Quantity Surveyor looking to make the step up. A background or knowledge of carpentry or traditional building methods would be highly beneficial.

What You Will Be Doing:

Manage all cost-related aspects of high-end residential construction projects

Prepare and submit valuations, variations, and final accounts

Oversee subcontractor procurement and account management

Lead financial reporting, including CVRs and forecasts

Provide commercial insight to the project delivery team

Liaise with clients, architects, and site managers to ensure smooth project delivery

Contribute to pre-construction processes including tender analysis and estimating

What We Need From You:

Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in residential or bespoke projects (ideally luxury sector)

Strong commercial and contractual knowledge (JCT experience preferred)

A carpentry background or practical construction understanding is an advantage

Excellent communication, negotiation, and organisational skills

Ambition to grow within a high-performing team

Ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and accuracy
