Salary: £30000 - £34000/annum

We are seeking an experienced, values-driven Domestic Violence Manager to lead and develop our domestic abuse services. This role is critical in ensuring survivors receive high-quality, trauma-informed, and safe support while overseeing staff, partnerships, and service delivery.

As a domestic Violence Manager you will provide strategic and operational leadership, ensuring services meet safeguarding standards, contractual requirements, and best practice, while centering survivor voices in everything we do.

Key Responsibilities as A Domestic Violence Manager

Lead and manage domestic violence services, ensuring safe, effective, and survivor-led support

*

Line manage and support staff, promoting reflective practice, wellbeing, and professional development

*

Oversee safeguarding, risk assessment, and case management processes

*

Develop and maintain strong partnerships with statutory and community agencies

*

Monitor service performance, outcomes, and reporting requirements

*

Contribute to service development, funding bids, and continuous improvement

*

Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and quality standards

About You

You will be a confident, empathetic leader with a strong understanding of domestic abuse and its impact. You bring both strategic thinking and hands-on experience, and you are committed to equality, empowerment, and trauma-informed practice.

Essential Criteria

*

Significant experience working within domestic violence or related services

*

Proven experience managing staff and/or services

*

Strong knowledge of safeguarding, risk management, and MARAC processes

*

Excellent communication and partnership-building skills

*

Commitment to anti-oppressive and survivor-centered practice

*

Ability to speak a community language relevant to BAME communities to support diverse service users

Desirable

Relevant qualification

*

Experience managing commissioned or grant-funded services

*

Knowledge of local domestic abuse pathways and legislation
