International Business Development Manager needed for our Staffordshire based Client.

Location: UK Hybrid

This is a new role and as the International Business Development Manager you will a focus on market expansion, optimising distributor reseller relationships and driving long-term revenue growth. You will report to the Sales Director and play a key part in fulfilling the company's global sales strategy.

Purpose of Role

Win new international business for a global brand by identifying and converting prospects into long-term customers. The focus is on market entry, distributor & reseller acquisition and securing high-value contracts with commercial buyers.

Key Responsibilities

* Proactively identify, research and target new international markets and opportunities

* Generate, qualify and convert leads into sustainable sales pipelines

* Build first-time relationships with distributors, resellers and ODM procurement teams

* Develop tailored proposals, bids and tenders to win new contracts

* Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with new customers

* Represent the company at international trade shows, conferences and sector events to generate leads

* Track performance metrics, reporting on pipeline growth and new business wins

Essential Requirements

* Proven success in securing and growing new business across international

* Skill in identifying and developing distributor and reseller partners

* Experience in export sales, business development and market entry strategy

* Strong negotiation and closing skills

* Excellent networking and relationship-building skills

* Comfortable working to targets, KPIs and have a results-driven mindset

* Willing and able to travel internationally as needed

* Track record of managing international distributor networks

* Self-motivated and comfortable with hybrid working
