Responsibilities - SEN Teacher

We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified SEN Teacher (must hold QTS or QTLS) to support a local SEN school in the Barnet area that caters for students with SEN needs including Autism Asperger syndrome, Specific Learning Difficulties, Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties and other complex needs. As and SEN Teacher you will be required to follow the set planning and routines, whilst delivering above and beyond your expectations as an SEN Teacher.

School - SEN Teacher

Duties include teaching and working closely with pupils of SEN in groups or 1:1, maintaining and improving the social, emotional, physical and learning needs for pupils. The ideal SEN Teacher will be able to tailor their approach in regard to communication, engagement, and distraction techniques to optimise learning and maximise comfort. Experience in challenging behaviour, Autism, complex needs or with non-verbal students, works brilliantly in this setting. You can guarantee a welcoming and supportive environment for any SEN Teacher to proceed and succeed at an excellent pace.
