Job Opportunity: Manufacturing Operative

Location: Hunslet, Leeds
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm (Flexibility required between 6:00am - 6:00pm)
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Overtime: Paid at enhanced rates for hours worked over 40 per week

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Manufacturing Operative to join our team. This is a hands-on role in a busy, dusty, industrial environment, ideal for someone who takes pride in their work and thrives on precision and consistency.

Key Responsibilities:

Weighing and measuring raw materials and products with high accuracy

Maintaining accurate written records and logs - excellent written English is essential

Operating machinery and following production processes

Supporting general manufacturing tasks as needed

Requirements:

Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment

Comfortable working in a dusty and physically demanding setting

Excellent written English skills for recording items and completing documentation

Strong attention to detail and accuracy

FLT Counterbalance licence preferred but not essential

Willingness to work flexible hours as required
