Our client, a highly respected specialist in fit-out, refurbishment and construction services, is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their thriving team.

The Role:
The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing accurate cost estimates for a range of commercial fit-out and refurbishment projects. Working closely with the pre-construction and contracts teams, you will ensure competitive, high-quality tenders are delivered to tight deadlines, helping to maintain the company's reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

* Analyse drawings, specifications, and other documentation to prepare comprehensive estimates

* Engage with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations

* Prepare bills of quantities and other tender documentation

* Attend site visits and pre-tender meetings as required

* Collaborate closely with the Contracts and Commercial teams to ensure seamless project handovers

* Identify and assess commercial risks associated with tender submissions

* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, pricing, and materials

Key Requirements:

* Proven experience as an Estimator within the construction, fit-out or refurbishment sectors

* Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations

* Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet tight deadlines

* Excellent numeracy, analytical, and communication skills

* A proactive, team-oriented approach with a keen eye for detail

* Relevant construction-related qualification preferred
