The Role:

This is a pivotal leadership position within the firm's Client Support Team, the first point of contact for both clients and providers. As Client Support Manager, you will report directly to the Operations Director and lead a team dedicated to delivering outstanding administrative and customer service in a regulated financial planning environment.

You'll play a key role in developing the team, driving performance, and improving efficiency - all while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and care.

Key Responsibilities:

" Lead and develop a high-performing support team through regular coaching, 1:1s, and performance reviews

" Oversee daily workflow, allocate tasks, and ensure adherence to quality and SLA benchmarks

" Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and probation processes for new team members

" Monitor capacity and capability to identify opportunities for improved efficiency

" Implement team standards, including accuracy checks, training logs, and performance reporting

" Drive service and process improvements to enhance client outcomes

" Lead team meetings to share best practices, provide business updates, and boost team cohesion

" Work closely with other internal teams to ensure seamless client service and collaboration

" Support wider business projects, process improvements, and strategic initiatives

" Contribute to technical areas including suitability letters, cashflow modelling, and digital client tools

What We're Looking For:

Essential:

" Proven experience managing and developing teams in a financial services environment

" Strong relationship-building and communication skills

" Advanced IT and data handling skills with high attention to detail

" Experience in a Financial Advisory or Wealth Management firm

Desirable:

" Certificate in Financial Administration or similar qualification

" Familiarity with systems such as Intelliflo Office or ConcertHub

" A commercially aware approach to operational development
