Our prestigious US law firm client situated within stunning offices is currently looking to hire a new Records Assistant to join a fantastic Records team on an initial 6 month FTC. Responsibilities will include ensuring inbound records are correctly classified and assigned to the correct client matter within all applicable firm systems, ensuring inbound physical records are inventoried in the record-keeping and document management systems, including digitising records where applicable, organising or performing records review and/or legal review of outbound documents, using secure channels or communication and data transfer according to data handling and security protocols, retrieving paper files from onsite or offsite storage as requested by attorneys and other personnel, picking up paper records from attorneys and other personnel to return to onsite or offsite storage, working effectively with others to accomplish daily records tasks, assisting with the intake of lateral hire paper and electronic records and any other ad hoc duties when required. Candidates need to have a minimum of 2 years records experience within a professional services organisation, preferably within a law firm, and should be extremely proactive, organised and possess excellent communication skills, a can-do attitude in addition to being proficient using Microsoft Office.
