Business Development & Marketing Assistant

We're working with a supportive and forward-thinking law firm in Blandford Forum that is expanding its marketing function. They're now offering a brand-new opportunity for a Business Development and Marketing Assistant to join their team, supporting the firm's highly regarded Private Client department.

This is a fantastic role for someone who wants to combine marketing, client engagement, and commercial thinking in a professional setting. You'll play a key part in developing the firm's brand, helping to attract and retain clients, and supporting fee-earners with content and promotional activity.

What you'll be doing:
Assisting with marketing campaigns for the Private Client team.

Helping fee-earners to create engaging content, including blogs and social media posts.

Handling new client enquiries and promoting additional services where appropriate.

Supporting business development initiatives, events, and client engagement strategies.

Contributing to wider marketing projects and firm-wide promotional activity.

What we're looking for:
At least 6 months' experience in an office or administrative role (ideally)

Excellent communication and writing skills - you'll be confident producing content and dealing with clients.

A proactive, self-motivated approach and a genuine interest in marketing and professional services.

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

Comfortable using social media and basic marketing tools.

Desirable but not essential:
Previous experience in a legal or private client setting.

Some knowledge of wills, probate, or other private client services.
