A Manufacturing Engineer/ Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer/ Manufacturing Technician/ Production Engineer is required for a leading high-precision aerospace manufacturer based in Poole.

The Manufacturing Engineer will play a key role in planning efficient manufacturing processes, producing high-quality job packs, and supporting production teams to ensure smooth, compliant, and cost-effective operations.

Fully onsite in Poole Manufacturing Engineer/ Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer/ Manufacturing Technician/ Production Engineer role:
Determine and plan optimal manufacturing methods and processes for aerospace components.

Plan efficient manufacturing processes
Produce detailed workshop job packs to AS9100 standards for the shop floor

Provide hands-on technical support to production teams.

Identify, specify, and organise tooling requirements for new parts.

Requirements:
Proven experience as a Manufacturing Engineer/ Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer/ Manufacturing Technician/ Production Engineer 

Experience in Aerospace or other high precision manufacturing is required. 
Strong understanding of machining processes, manufacturing methods, and materials.

Good knowledge of surface treatments and secondary processes.

Ability to interpret customer drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Commutable to Poole. 
Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Excel.

CAD experience (ideally CATIA) is beneficial.

Experience with AS1900 is beneficial. 
Strong commercial awareness and the ability to balance cost, quality, and manufacturability.

Knowledge of UKAS standards is beneficial
