QuidMarket, a rapidly expanding company, are looking to recruit a Company Management Accountant, to lead the Finance team and provide strategic financial direction for the business. This is an exciting, fast-paced, management role within the financial services sector. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with the ability to analyse critical financial data and present reports at Board level. You should have an Accounting Qualification and experience in the financial services sector would be advantageous.
·Direct all aspects of accounting operations, overseeing all transactions related to general ledger, receivables, payables, payroll and financial reporting.
·Analyse company's financial results with respect to profits, trends, costs and compliance with budgets and forecasts. Issue regular status and ad hoc report to senior management.
·Providing performance updates, guidance, reporting and trend analysis.
·Develop and coordinate all relationships with lending/financial institutions.
·Develop and maintain all necessary accounting policies and systems, including general ledger and financial reporting. Ensure that records are maintained in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
·Liaise with outsourced payroll/tax Accountants.
·Assist senior management in financial planning and results management.
·Work with other team members to understand revenue and cost drivers and define appropriate reports for tracking.
·Coordinate, prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
·Adhere to industry regulation and ensure compliance.
·Manage cash flow.
·Ensure timely and accurate filing of Financial and regulatory data requirements
·Manage the finance department staff, develop their skills by training and coaching, set and monitor KPIs.
·Interact with capital partners and board of directors.
·Must be studying CIMA/ACCA/ACA or AAT level 4 or Qualified would be preferred
·Experience working in a growing start-up environment strongly preferred.
·Entrepreneurial and able to work outside the box to assist in developing the business and exceeding financial goals
·Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
·Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with fluctuating priorities and deadlines.
·Ability to work without direct supervision, and efficiently manage tasks and time.
·3 years+ years of managerial accounting and financial management experience.
·Degree level education in addition to Management Accounting or Finance, or equivalent qualification
·Experience in a lending or service business with the activity-based project costing
·Experience of working in a Financial Conduct Authority regulated business would be preferable
