My client a global communications company, base in the City of London is looking for dedicated Security Risk and Manager, and  your mission will be to fortify the organisation's digital bastions, meticulously identifying potential threats and weaknesses. 

It would be highly advantageous for the successful Security, Risk Manager to come from an aviation or Airline background and you will be instrumental in conducting thorough risk assessments and deploying effective security measures. Your role will be integral to the maintenance and enhancement of security protocols, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and industry benchmarks.

To be considered for this role you will

Have in-depth knowledge of security frameworks, such as NIST, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS
Possess proven experience in security risk management & compliance in ISO 27001, GDPR, PCI DSS
Have a strong understanding of network security principles and practices
Be experienced in conducting risk assessments and threat modelling
Be generally proficient in Linux operating systems (e.g., Red Hat, CentOS, Alma, ubuntu)
Have familiarity with security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption techniques
Possess professional certifications, such as CISSP, CISA, or CRISC, similar
Have experience in the identification and capture of IT functional and non-functional requirements for large, complex project.
Collaboration is key; you will work alongside esteemed industry partners, including leading aircraft manufacturers and airlines, representing the technical cutting edge of my client. Your expertise will be pivotal in steering and auditing projects to ensure they meet stringent regulations and are delivered within scope.
