As the Senior Facilities Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining the school's buildings and grounds, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for staff and students. Key Responsibilities of the Senior Facilities Technician:

Lead and carry out routine maintenance and repairs across the school site
Manage and monitor the safety and security of the buildings and grounds
Coordinate contractors and external suppliers when needed
Support the smooth operation of facilities, including heating, plumbing, and electrical systems
Conduct regular safety checks and report any issues promptly
Assist with setting up rooms and facilities for school events
Maintain accurate records of maintenance work and stock levels
Requirements to be a successful Senior Facilities Technician:

Proven experience in a facilities or maintenance role, preferably in a school or similar setting
Strong knowledge of building maintenance, health and safety regulations
Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively
Good communication skills and a flexible approach to work
Basic DIY and technical skills including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
Commitment to safeguarding and creating a safe environment for all
