Here, we provide Residential, Dementia, Nursing, and Respite care, and we're looking for a passionate Care Home Chef to join our team.

What you'll do
- Meal Preparation: Cook and serve hot and cold meals, including modified diets for residents with specific dietary needs.
- Menu Planning: Work with the Head Chef to design balanced, nutritious menus that make the most of fresh, local ingredients.
- Kitchen Leadership: Take ownership of day-to-day kitchen operations, maintaining high standards of hygiene and food safety.
- Stock & Records: Monitor stock levels, assist with ordering, and maintain accurate food records.
- Cleanliness & Safety: Ensure kitchen equipment and dining areas are clean, safe, and welcoming.
Skills & experience we're looking for
We're looking for a chef who thrives in a care home environment and genuinely enjoys making a difference through food. You'll have some experience working in a care setting and be confident preparing meals that meet residents' unique dietary needs, including modified diets. Being a team player is key someone who can collaborate with colleagues, step in when needed, and help create a smooth-running, welcoming kitchen. You'll also have a good understanding of food hygiene and safety, ensuring every meal is prepared to the highest standard. Most importantly, you're passionate about cooking and excited to bring warmth, creativity, and care to every dish you prepare.
