Outlook Publishing is a Norwich-based digital media publisher, producing world-class business and travel content for an international audience. Our operations spans Europe, The Middle East, Africa, Australia, Asia, and North America.

Offering an excellent opportunity within a multi-award-winning company, a friendly and family-like workplace, and extensive training and skills development, we are looking for a Trainee Website Editor to join our team.

The Role - Trainee Website Editor:

Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for editing and uploading new content to our websites, migrating content from various sources, making day-to-day edits and changes as required by other departments, and supporting the Digital Marketing Manager in delivering the company's wider communications strategy.

This position presents an exciting opportunity to be a part of our plans for the next phase of growth in website traffic, content management, brand awareness, and revenue delivery. It is a new role in which the successful candidate will receive comprehensive in-house training and long term support in marketing, subscription, production, and business development. Previous experience in a similar position is not essential.

The role is office-based in our Norwich headquarters, providing a relaxed collaborative working environment, access to management, and significant day-to-day autonomy.

Responsibilities - Trainee Website Editor:

Producing, editing and uploading content for the website into the WordPress CMS
Maintaining and developing content alongside our Creative teams
Archiving and or deleting content where required
Optimising web content to align with SEO and accessibility standards
Monitoring and actioning the Web Support inbox
Person Specification - Trainee Website Editor:

Experience of Microsoft OS and Windows applications
Excellent standard of both written and verbal communication skills
Thorough with an excellent eye-for-detail
A team player with strong work ethic
Good level of organisation and multi-tasking skills
Flexible and open to change
Happy with periods of repetitive tasks
An interest in Web Design / WordPress (desirable)
Previous experience of WordPress CMS (desirable)
