Interim Financial Controller

Stanton House is currently recruiting an Interim Financial Controller position for a Private Equity backed business who are based close to Harrow in North West London.

As Interim Financial Controller you will responsible for the day to day management of the Finance Team of 6-7 people. In addition to this you will

• Own the month end process which spans 5+ entities, ensuring this runs smoothly and on time in closing at the end of working week 1. You will document this process for the future permanent hire to ensure a smooth handover.
• Ensure the team prepare and delivers the necessary financial statements in accordance with US GAAP.
• Oversee the balance sheet and intercompany accounting accuracy.
• Own the payroll function to ensure all employees receive payment on time.
• Oversee the Accounts Payable function.
• Work closely with the FP&A team ensuring they are supported in achieving their objectives.

To be successful in the role, it is important you are qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA ). In addition to this:

• Previous experience, 3+ years, as a Financial Controller is required to ensure you can hit the ground running.
• You must have managed a team 5 + people previously.
• US GAAP and FRS102 experience is required.
• You must have strong communication skills.
• You must have Indirect Tax understanding.
• You must have knowledge of fixed asset accounting.
