Shift Pattern:  Week 1 - Sunday to Wednesday NIGHTS (7pm-7am)
Week 2- Monday to Thursday DAYS (7am - 7pm)
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

We are looking for a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer (mechanical or electrically biased) to support our growing operations and play a key role in maintaining and improving our plant performance.

What You'll Be Doing:

Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on a wide range of production and packaging machinery

Diagnosing and resolving electrical and mechanical faults on systems including conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pumps, flow wrappers, and PLC-controlled equipment

Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and increase reliability

Working closely with the production team to ensure maximum equipment availability

Ensuring all work is completed safely, adhering to health & safety, food hygiene, and site procedures

✅ What We're Looking For:

Time-served engineer with a strong mechanical or electrical background

Experience in FMCG, food, packaging, or heavy industry environments

Strong fault-finding skills on both electrical and mechanical systems

Ideally qualified to Level 3 NVQ/BTEC or equivalent in Engineering (mechanical/electrical)

Positive attitude, proactive mindset, and a strong team player
