About the Role:

A fantastic opportunity has opened for a skilled Plumber/Mechanical Engineer to join a well-established facilities team in North London, working on a 4 on 4 off day shift pattern. You'll be part of a 2-person shift team maintaining key mechanical plant and systems within a critical environment.

This is a permanent role offering excellent training and long-term progression, ideal for someone looking to step into a stable, technically focused position.

Key Responsibilities:

* Planned and reactive maintenance of plant equipment and mechanical systems

* Work on calorifiers, pressurisation units, TMVs, pumps, motors, belt changes

* Perform AHU cleaning, legionella prevention, and plant room upkeep

* Maintain site documentation and report on completed tasks

* Respond to emergency callouts - only while on shift (night attendance if required)

Requirements:

* Experience in commercial mechanical building maintenance

* Level 2 or higher in Plumbing or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)

* Comfortable working on a rota with on-call responsibility during shift blocks

* DBS clearance preferred or willing to obtain

* Strong communication and teamworking skills
