Registered Children's Home Manager (Transition to Service Manager)

Location: Burton on Trent

Salary: £58,000 + £5,000 annual bonus

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Children's Home Manager to join our team with the opportunity to transition into a Service Manager role. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing a children's home, evidenced by strong Ofsted reports or greater.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee the daily operations of the children's home ensuring the highest standards of care and support.
- Lead and manage the team, fostering a positive and supportive environment for both staff and residents.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards, maintaining excellent Ofsted ratings.
- Develop and implement strategies to continually improve service delivery and outcomes for children.
- Collaborate with external agencies and stakeholders to enhance service provision.
- Transition into a Service Manager role, overseeing multiple sites and services, driving organizational growth and development.

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Registered Children's Home Manager with excellent Ofsted reports.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant legislation and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and manage change effectively.
