I am working with a SaaS start-up (and this years 'IT Vendor of the year' winner) who's cloud-based omnichannel customer engagement platform is connecting customers to the right people to resolve their issues! This might be Email, WhatsApp, WebChat, Facebook Messenger or even a phone call - their platform makes it possible to connect you whatever the issue.
Business is better than ever - they've grown 30% every year so far and have just received HUGE PE investment to support further development. We recently placed the VP of Engineering and the Head of DevOps - both had huge success in leadership positions within enterprise organisations across Manchester before joining this start-up and are quickly implementing a sustainable modern devops culture.
The challenge You will be part of a team of five, working on a range of substantial, transformational projects to help build a resilient, scalable platform to support the organisation's customer communications product. The right person will have gone through transformation periods, and worked extensively with Azure, an SME if you like.
They need someone to Lead and eventually grow a team beneath them!
What you'll bring with you: Azure (IaaS & PaaS), experience provisioning infrastructure as code, familiarity with build & deployment tooling. A fundamental understanding of networking & routing concepts would be very useful.
Working patterns: they have a Manchester city centre office but you will only be required to go onsite adhoc - once a month as an average.
Salary & package: basic salary worth up to £85,000 supported by 25 days holiday and buy/sell scheme.
