TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Salford that is seeking an experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who is passionate about making a positive impact on pupils' learning and development.

The Role:

Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons across the primary age range

Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils

Delivering targeted interventions to raise attainment (desirable)

Supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEND and EAL where required

Assisting with classroom preparation, resources and displays

Promoting positive behaviour and contributing to a safe, nurturing learning environment

Upholding safeguarding and child protection policies at all times

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)

A minimum of 1 year's experience working in a UK primary school

A strong understanding of the primary curriculum

Experience delivering or supporting intervention programmes (desirable)

Confidence supporting phonics, reading, writing and maths

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

A proactive, flexible and positive approach
