What the Role Involves:

Deliver engaging History lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping students build knowledge, skills, and confidence

Use creative approaches to make lessons interactive, including role-play, source analysis, and project-based learning
Track progress and provide meaningful feedback to support every student's achievement
Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and departmental initiatives
Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment where all students feel supported and challenged
Participate in enrichment opportunities such as trips, history clubs, or themed events to bring learning to lifeWhat We're Looking For:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for History
The ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
A collaborative mindset with a commitment to contributing to the wider school community
