The Role

• Location: Sefton
• Hours: Full-time, long term
• Start: Required immediately (ASAP)

You will be expected to:

• Plan and Deliver: Create and teach compelling lessons, using advanced differentiation techniques.
• Use both formal and ongoing methods to assess student learning and analyse performance data.
• Expertly adjust learning materials for full student accessibility.
• Collaborate effectively with support staff, parents, and external agencies.
• Establish a positive, structured, and inclusive classroom setting.

Candidates must satisfy the following criteria:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is non-negotiable.
• Proven, successful experience teaching a range of SEN within the UK school system.
• Comprehensive understanding of SEN policy, intervention strategies, and best practice.
• Demonstrated resilience, patience, initiative, and strong classroom leadership.
• Must hold a current, clear Enhanced DBS check, or be prepared to obtain one immediately.

Preferential: Relevant specialist SEN training or significant background supporting students with profound learning challenges is a strong advantage.
