We’re more than just a fuel company—we’re a forward-thinking, innovative team operating in a niche market where no two days are the same. As part of our ongoing growth, we’re looking to onboard an experienced or aspiring Field Fuel Service Engineer to join our nationwide engineering team.
The Role
This is a practical, hands-on role with national travel to deliver a wide range of field-based fuel maintenance and environmental services. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers, learning and performing critical tasks such as fuel testing, tank cleaning, polishing, transfer, and decommissioning. You’ll also support clients on-site and play a key part in keeping operations running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fuel transfer, polishing, and filtering to maintain fuel quality
- Tank cleaning and system decommissioning
- Installation and removal of fuel tanks and associated pipework
- Carrying out on-site inspections and customer consultations
- Supporting and leading site surveys, with detailed report preparation
- Preparing and submitting RAMS documentation for projects
- Ensuring strict compliance with health & safety policies and procedures
- Monitoring stock levels (PPE, tools, and consumables)
About You
We are looking for someone proactive, physically fit, and comfortable working in high-risk environments and confined spaces. You’ll be solution-focused and committed to delivering exceptional service on-site.
Required:
- Experience with fuel systems or commercial tanks (beneficial)
- Valid CSCS card
- Full UK driving licence
- Working at Height and Confined Space (High Risk) qualifications
- Physically capable and willing to travel/stay away as required
- Knowledge of RAMS and on-site health & safety procedures
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Desirable:
- Additional industry or site safety certifications
- Previous experience in a field service engineering role
