Electrical Engineer / TechnicianLocation: Lancashire (Preston)Salary: £35,000 - £45,000

We are looking for a motivated Electrical Engineer/ Technician to join a market leading company in their respective field. Reporting directly to the engineering manager you will be a key member in ensuring the production facility is kept running. With progressive training and development this company is always looking to enhance its employees and their skill sets, whilst additionally being supported by a welcoming team of engineers.

You will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, and fault-finding of electrical systems. This is a practical, workshop-based role with involvement in full system builds.

Key responsibilities include:

• Installation of 12V and 24V electrical systems
• Fitting and integration of components such as inverters, chargers, and control panels
• PLC fault finding and diagnostics
• Commissioning of completed systems
• Supporting vehicle builds from concept through to completion
• Working with schematic drawings and CAD designs

• Time-served or qualified in a relevant engineering discipline
• Experience in electrical installation and fault finding
